It all began with an idea in 1961…
The VFD Auxiliary was formed in 1961, when the Volente Fire Department was created. It’s goal is to:
“Uphold and assist with the social aims and objectives of the Volente Fire Department.” & “Give financial support by holding fund-raising events as necessary during the year.”
After over 60 years, it’s still going strong!
